2008 The Erawan Group sponsored sails to fishermen to recede the oil consumption

On the 4th of July 2008, the Company sponsored 45 sails to Andaman Sea Fisheries Reserach and Development Centre, Department of Fisheries, at Ao Chalong in Phuket, along with the staff joing in colouring the sails. This activity aims to encourage the realization on environment and to relieve the crisis of fuel. Using sails dual with oil in the small fishing boats can reduce 30% the fuel consumption. Moreover, the Erawan Group helped releasing Giant Clams to conserve and to extend their hatchery for the creation of the new scenery and tourist attraction in the future.
